Shuhei Yoshida has announced he will be leaving PlayStation after 30 years with the company in January of 2025. Yoshida who has been with PlayStation since its beginning in 1993 said that after hitting 30 years he decided it was time to move on. Yoshida has been the Head of Indies Initiative for Sony since 2019 and no official word has been made on who will be his replacement.
