After months of speculation and rumors, and despite recent reports that a shutdown was not in the games future, XDefiant announced that it will be shutting down in June 2025. December 3rd was the final day to download the game according to a tweet from Executive producer Mark Rubin. Refund will be issued to anyone who purchased the Ultimate Founder’s Pack and anyone who made a purchase in the last 30 days. Could Ubisoft be closing its doors soon?#xdefiantgame
