Michael Douse director of publishing at Baldur’s Gate 3, said that the reason Prince of Persia failed is because Ubisoft refused to do a day one release of the game on Steam. Instead Ubisoft opted for a release on Epic Game store and the Ubisoft store, and launched on Steam 7 months later.
