Snipe Elites Battle Royale, known as Porject Archipelago, has been canceled after Tecent decided to pull funding on the project. The game had an early alpha play test in August of this year, however fans of the franchise were not keen on the Battle Royale genre as the direction for the Sniper Elite series. Higher ups at Rebellion also implied Tencent got cold feed for a handful of projects following Concords flop.
