Less than twenty four hours after the announced changes to the ranked system for Marvel Rivals NetEase has cancelled the idea after fan backlash. NetEast had originally intended for a mid season rank reset, where players would drop four divisions and then need to climb back up for another set of rewards. However players were worried about the addition of the four division drop and the six division drop at the end of the season. NetEase now said players will not drop ranks and instead need to just play 10 ranked games in the second half of the season for rewards.
